An elf, so cute and small,
A reindeer, big, and wonderful,
They're not too bad at all!
Little kids in little beds,
3, to be precise,
Chloe, Aubrey and Romaine,
Yes, they have all been nice!
Caitlyn and her family,
At supersonic speed,
Are rushing off to Sydney,
To see their Christmas tree.
Chloe, Aubrey, Romain,
Caitlyn and William too,
Are all asleep on mattresses,
And all in the same room.
A sleigh, so nice and Christmassy,
Nine reindeer, all harnessed on,
Yelled Santa with a booming voice,
"This should not take long!"
At 100ks per hour,
Among the stars he raced,
"Ho ho ho!" he yelled,
He saw the Russell-Alexander's place.
He landed on their roofing,
And he grabbed a large sack,
Then jumped down their chimney,
And landed with a WHACK!!
Five little pairs of eyes,
Staring at the mess,
Then Santa and the children shouted
"Merry Christmas!"
Santa gave Chloe a canvas,
And Aubrey got a fake tail,
Caitlyn got another book,
Romain got a little train rail.
And as for William?
Well he had fallen asleep,
So in the morning when he woke up,
He asked if Santa had been.
Caitlyn said "Yes!
He has! And he left this for you!"
Then she held her hands out,
To reveal the egg of a cockatoo.
"Thank you Santa", William said,
As he walked out of the house,
In return a sleigh went past,
And all the kids said "Grouse!"
